August and Molly lead the way
For several weeks our Saturday students have been working on a drill team performance. The six to eight riders form two lines and ride a mirror image pattern together.
This weekend, the team rode the final pattern from memory and put it to music. We were able to work out some

timing kinks and technical difficulties to make the pattern ride smoothly.
The horses are learning to stand still for the salute!
From here on out the team will be working to add more finesse for the March 20th performance.

Wonderful to see the pictures of the kids preparing for drill team! Vera heard that there will be no riding Saturday, but our commitments for church preclude Sunday morning. Please let us know if there is a change in the Saturday schedule as soon as possible. Vera is available on Friday.

PS – we have a second inexpensive boom box setup to be setup with the other and cover the ring with sound during the practice and drill performance.
